  1. Draft

    Write it your way

    • One message, as long as you like, with headings, lists and emphasis.
    • On paid plans, attach video messages, voice recordings, documents and photos.
    • Saved automatically as you type. Every version is kept.
    • Completely private. A draft is never sent to anyone.

  2. Final

    Choose who and when

    • Add the email addresses of up to 10 people.
    • Choose the period: send it if we don't hear from you for 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks.
    • One click on Mark final and it's set.
    • Preview it first, exactly as your recipients will see it.
    • The will is locked so nothing changes by accident.

  3. Watching over it

    Quietly, while you live your life

    • Every time you sign in or use the site, the countdown starts again.
    • If we haven't heard from you, we email you before anything is sent: 7, 3 and 1 days before by default, or on the days you choose. Each email says the exact date.
    • Each reminder has a private I'm OK button. One press, no password, and the countdown starts again. Signing in works too.

  4. Delivered

    When the time comes

    • Each person receives a private link by email.
    • They confirm a code sent to their own inbox, so only they can open it.
    • Videos and recordings play right in the browser. Documents and photos can be saved.
    • Their link works for 30 days, and they can download the message and every file to keep.

Changing your mind

Life changes, and your will can too. Choose Edit (move to draft) at any time to update the text, the files, the people or the period, then mark it final again.

While it's back in draft, it won't be sent. Your dashboard reminds you to finish.

A full history

Every change is recorded and easy to read: what you wrote before and after, files added or removed, people added or removed, period changes, reminders and deliveries.

You can open any earlier version, and bring it back if you like.

Back after it was sent?

If your will was sent while you were simply away, sign in and choose Stop access. Every link stops working straight away, and your will goes back to watching over you.

You choose 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks. The countdown restarts whenever you sign in or press I'm OK in a reminder email.
